By the sea, out in the open and close to the city

Hotel Rantapuisto is located on the shores of the Baltic Sea in the Ramsinniemi, Vuosaari region of Helsinki, 15 km from Helsinki city center and the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Gorgeous jogging grounds start right from the hotel door. Activities of a sunny bay are just a few kilometers away, and you can stop by the many sea shore cafes and a sandy beach on your way there. Water sports enthusiasts can appreciate the swimming opportunities provided by the hotel’s own beach and the close vicinity of a paddling center next door to the hotel. The landscape of a stunning archipelago tempts even the busiest traveler to take a breather and yield to be indulged!

Public transportation

The metro connection to Rastila and Vuosaari metro stations is currently suspended due to renovation work on the Vuosaari metro bridge.

When arriving at Hotel Rantapuisto, please exit the metro at Itäkeskus Station, where a replacement bus service (bus 99V) operates to Rastila metro station. Bus 99V departs from platform 11 at Itäkeskus, and the stop to exit is Rastila (M). From Rastila, you can transfer to bus 560, which runs every 10–15 minutes. The closest stop to the hotel is Ramsinniementie (4557). From there, it’s about an 800-meter walk along Ramsinniementie to Hotel Rantapuisto.

Additionally, on weekdays (Mon–Fri), service line 817 runs directly from Vuosaari metro station to Hotel Rantapuisto. You can also reach Vuosaari via bus 99V, which follows the route Itäkeskus – Rastila – Vuosaari.

By Sea – Eastern Archipelago Route

During the summer season, you can also arrive by sea!
The Eastern Archipelago Route operates daily between June 1 and August 28, 2025, and stops at the Rantapuisto pier, located just a short walk from the hotel (please note this is not the hotel’s own pier). From the pier, it’s about a 200-meter walk to the hotel.
When you disembark, turn left and follow the walking path toward the hotel.

Meritullintori (City Centre) – Kalasatama – Herttoniemi – Laajasalo – Vartiosaari – Kotiluoto – Kivisaari – Satamasaari – Rantapuisto – Malkasaari – Iso Iiluoto – Leikosaari – Neitsytsaari – Vuosaari

Route by private car

From Itäkeskus center, drive Meripellontie road toward Vuosaari. Immediately after Vuosaari bridge, take the right-hand side ramp up and turn right onto Meri-Rastilantie road. Continue along Meri-Rastilantie road for approximately 800 m, after which make another right turn onto Ramsinniementie road. Continue on Ramsinniementie road for another 600 m, when you’ll see a sign on your left toward “Hotel Rantapuisto.” Hotel guests are kindly requested to provide the registration number of the vehicle at the reception desk as soon as parking starts. There are no charging points for electric cars.
