Did you know you can also arrive at Hotel Rantapuisto by sea?
The Eastern Archipelago Route is Helsinki’s only internal ferry route connecting mainland to mainland – and it offers a unique and scenic way to reach our hotel or set off on an island-hopping adventure. The ferry stops at Rantapuisto Pier, located right next to the hotel (please note: this pier is not operated by the hotel).

Along the way, you’ll experience authentic archipelago life and discover the natural gems of East Helsinki. The ferry travels through areas rarely served by other vessels, including:

The route operates daily from 1 June to 28 August 2025.
The full route includes the following stops:
Meritullintori – Kalasatama – Herttoniemi – Laajasalo – Vartiosaari – Kotiluoto – Kivisaari – Satamasaari – Rantapuisto – Malkasaari – Iso Iiluoto – Leikosaari – Neitsytsaari – Vuosaari
The entire cruise takes approximately 3 hours and is operated by two ferries – one departing from the city centre and the other from Vuosaari.
