By the sea, out in the open and close to the city

Hotel Rantapuisto is located on the shores of the Baltic Sea in the Ramsinniemi, Vuosaari region of Helsinki, 15 km from Helsinki city center and 20 km from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Gorgeous jogging grounds start right from the hotel door. Activities of a sunny bay are just a few kilometers away, and you can stop by the many sea shore cafes and a sandy beach on your way there. Water sports enthusiasts can appreciate the swimming opportunities provided by the hotel’s own beach and the close vicinity of a paddling center next door to the hotel. The landscape of a stunning archipelago tempts even the busiest traveler to take a breather and yield to be indulged!

Public transportation

It’s easy to reach Hotel Rantapuisto by public transport from Helsinki city centre.

The nearest metro station is Rastila, located about 1.7 km from the hotel. From Rastila, you can take bus 560, which runs every 10–15 minutes. Get off at the Ramsinniementie (4557) stop, from where it’s about an 800-metre walk along Ramsinniementie to Hotel Rantapuisto.

Alternatively, you can travel by metro to Vuosaari metro station and take bus 817, which takes you directly to the hotel entrance. This bus runs currently only two times a day at 07:00 and 16:00. After 6th of October it will run once an hour between 07:00 and 16:30.

Route by private car

From Itäkeskus center, drive Meripellontie road toward Vuosaari. Immediately after Vuosaari bridge, take the right-hand side ramp up and turn right onto Meri-Rastilantie road. Continue along Meri-Rastilantie road for approximately 800 m, after which make another right turn onto Ramsinniementie road. Continue on Ramsinniementie road for another 600 m, when you’ll see a sign on your left toward “Hotel Rantapuisto.” Hotel guests are kindly requested to provide the registration number of the vehicle at the reception desk as soon as parking starts. There are no charging points for electric cars.
