Hotel Rantapuisto is a seaside setting for celebrations, surrounded by lush nature where the scenery becomes part of the experience. Everything is under one roof: event spaces for gatherings of all sizes, hotel rooms for overnight stays, and a private beach and pier for unforgettable congratulations and photos. The summer terrace and courtyard areas are yours to enjoy, and the entire outdoor area and beach are licensed for alcohol service, so the celebration can flow seamlessly outdoors as well. From family milestones to corporate occasions, Rantapuisto delivers with style and professional service, and it’s no coincidence the venue has also been chosen as a filming location, including for Ensitreffit alttarilla (Married at First Sight Finland).

Banquet Hall
Elegant Banquet Hall with a Breathtaking Sea View
The elegant Banquet Hall is located on the second floor of the main building, with beautiful sea views from the room and from the balcony that wraps around it. Once a dining and decision-making venue for distinguished guests, it now becomes the stage for your celebration, whether you choose a buffet or plated menu at round tables, or an elegant cocktail reception. A dance floor, piano, bar, and sound system for background music are available free of charge.
Kellari basement restaurant
The basement restaurant, Kellariravintola, is located literally in the basement of the main building. However, there’s an unobstructed view of the sea right by the round dance floor. Here you can host relaxed festivities e.g. weddings, birthday parties and corporate functions. Or how about a song quiz led by a DJ or karaoke contests? This function room is equipped with a dance floor, sound system, bar counter, pool table and toilet facilities.
Restaurant Furu
Located on the first floor of the main building, Furu is an atmospheric venue with a 1960s design. The space feels straight out of a design magazine. The decorative redwood ceiling is in its original 1960s style, and there is a fireplace in the middle of the room to create a cosy atmosphere. You can also admire the magnificent sea view from the large windows. In the summer, the restaurant’s terrace is open. The space has a bar and parquet flooring.
Private Room Ulappa
Ulappa, located on the second floor of the main building, has served as a dining and decision-making venue for many influential figures in the banking world. This cosy dining room with large windows is well suited to informal meetings as well as elegant dinner events.

Weddings
Hotel Rantapuisto is a popular wedding venue where sea views and the calm of nature create an unforgettable setting. Our atmospheric spaces, terrace, courtyard and private beach are at your disposal, and the celebration can continue seamlessly outdoors as well. Our experienced team will tailor the day to your wishes, and for weddings of over 50 guests, the couple’s stay in a sea-view room with late check-out is included. We are now booking the last available dates for summer 2026, and summers 2027–2028 are already on sale.

Winter Weddings
Atmospheric winter wedding at Hotel Rantapuisto
Winter weddings and off-season celebrations offer the chance to create something truly different, with a calm, fairytale-like beauty. In the Banquet Hall and Restaurant Furu, large windows open up to stunning sea and forest views, and the fireplaces add a cosy finishing touch. For smaller wedding parties, the red-brick Basement Restaurant is also an excellent option.
Off-season benefit: From December to April, we offer the Basement Restaurant as an after-party venue free of charge until 1:00 a.m. for weddings with a minimum of 50 guests (offer valid until the end of 2027).
Frequently Asked Questions & Seating Plans
When can I decorate the event space?
- Restaurant Furu serves breakfast every day, so you can decorate the restaurant no earlier than 1 p.m. on the day of the celebration.
- The banquet hall or basement restaurant can be decorated the day before, provided there are no other events scheduled.
- Preliminary reservation inquiry about the event space is possible approximately one month before the event date and final confirmation one week before.
Do all personal belongings/decorations/sound equipment have to be removed immediately after the wedding celebration?
- Restaurant Furu serves breakfast, so the premises must be vacated immediately after the wedding celebration.
- You can leave your belongings in the banquet hall and the basement restaurant overnight at your own risk, if the reservation situation allows. The swing door of the banquet hall cannot be locked.
How is cleaning handled?
- The hotel staff will clean everything except for decorations/sound equipment/gifts that the wedding party wishes to keep.
Is there a backstage area for the band or photographer?
- Restaurant Furu does not have a backstage area, but you can reserve a small meeting room for this purpose for 100€/day.
- Adjacent to the banquet hall is the Ulappa cabinet, which can be used as a backstage area.
- There is a backstage area inside the basement restaurant.
What kind of sound system is there in the event space?
- All rooms have background music sound systems, which you can use to play your own music via Bluetooth from your phone/tablet/computer.
- A single microphone for speech is included in the price of the wedding package.
- A separate sound system is required for a band or DJ. You can bring your own or we can rent one from our partners for an additional fee.
Can I taste the food and wine in advance?
- Unfortunately, we do not organize public tastings.
- Private tastings can be booked for an additional fee (starting at 500€).
- Wedding cakes can be tasted at ph7 locations, and some cakes are available in pastry versions. Ask ph7 customer service for more information.
- Wines can be tasted free of charge at the planning meeting.
What does the table setting include? Are candles allowed in the premises?
- Pure white tablecloths, cloth napkins (white or nougat, as desired), cutlery, and glasses.
- We have a few mismatched vases, but if you want a uniform look, we recommend bringing your own vases.
- You can borrow clear “Kastehelmi” candle holders from us (please bring your own candles).
- Real candles are allowed.
What kind of table arrangement/seating plan is suitable for the premises?
- The banquet hall has round tables, which we recommend seating 5-8 people per table. The wedding couple can sit at a round table with their close friends and family, or they can have their own table.
- Restaurant Furu has long tables for 8-16 people, a separate table for the wedding couple, or a so-called T-shaped table, where the wedding couple sits crosswise at the end of the long table.
- The basement restaurant has small round tables for 4-5 people. Long tables are available in the basement restaurant at an additional cost.
- Sample seating plans can be found under this page. Our staff will be happy to help with any questions regarding seating arrangements.
Can the wedding ceremony be held at the venue?
- The ceremony can be held on the terrace belonging to Restaurant Furu. The terrace has around 30-40 chairs, which we can arrange in rows, with the remaining guests standing at the back.
- If you choose the Banquet Hall or Basement Restaurant, the terrace can be rented for the ceremony at a cost of 550€.
- Please note that in case of rain, the ceremony can be moved to your own event space, but these spaces are a bit cramped, especially for weddings with more than 50 guests, and there is no room for ceremony furniture.
- Our magnificent Auditorium is an alternative for indoor ceremonies, subject to availability, for which we charge 600€.

Memorial services are always planned and carried out individually and respectfully.
